Blockchain

Blockchain is a distributed digital ledger that records transactions across a network of computers. Records are grouped into cryptographically linked blocks, making them difficult to alter without detection. Blockchain can support cryptocurrencies, smart contracts, identity systems, and supply-chain tracking, but its decentralized and immutable features may create privacy and data-protection challenges.
